Customers purchasing reeds and cane should consider them to be non-returnable and non-refundable.
Returns are strictly not accepted for reasons of personal preference, (though I do welcome feedback and take it very seriously.)
If reeds are lost or damaged during shipping, they will be replaced at no cost to the customer.
If a reed arrives with a serious defect (such as a cracked tip or major leak), it must be returned for inspection before a replacement is issued.
The customer is fully responsible for return shipping and should use the original packaging whenever possible, or packaging of equivalent quality. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address is complete and accurate.
Replacement reeds are shipped only after the original item has been received and evaluated.

These items include a 7-day approval period beginning on the date of confirmed delivery.
Customers wishing to return an item must notify J M Reinhardt LLC in writing within this 7-day period.
All handmade accessories are covered against manufacturing defects for 60 days from the date of delivery. This coverage is limited to defects that were present at the time of shipment and does not include damage resulting from misuse, accident, or normal wear. Customers are responsible for safe, insured return shipping for any items submitted under this coverage.
Returned items must be in original condition, securely packaged, and insured for the full value.

Refunds are processed once the item has been received and inspected.
Original shipping and insurance costs are non-refundable.

Used instruments and machines are sold with a 7-day approval period, beginning upon confirmed delivery.
Prior to shipment, customers may be asked to provide two checks: one for the full sale amount and one for insured shipping.
The full-value check will be held uncashed during the approval period.
Customers must notify J M Reinhardt LLC in writing within the 7-day period if they wish to return an instrument.
Returned items must be shipped fully insured, in the same condition as received, and using the same packaging standards.
The customer is responsible for return shipping and insurance.
Upon safe return and inspection, the sale will be voided or refunded as appropriate.
If no written notice is received within the 7-day approval period, the sale is considered final, and payment will be processed.
Used instruments are sold as-is and carry no formal warranty beyond the approval period. While J M Reinhardt LLC is not obligated to provide repairs or replacements after the approval period, in some cases assistance or accommodations may be offered at the company’s discretion to address issues that arise post-sale.

Returned items must arrive in the same condition as originally shipped.
Any evidence of wear, alteration, or damage may result in a partial refund or denial of refund, depending on the extent of the issue.
J M Reinhardt LLC is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.

Refunds for approved returns are typically processed within 5–10 business days after the item is received and inspected.
Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment, unless otherwise arranged in writing.

All return and refund requests must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable).
J M Reinhardt LLC reserves the right to decline unreasonable or repeated return requests and to interpret these policies in good faith to ensure fairness for all customers.
