1993 Glotin Oboe Tube Cane (per 1/4 lb)

Glotin tube cane, aged 28+ years.  Glotin is of medium hardness and density, and it is on the lighter side of the color spectrum (light straw yellow rather than golden-yellow.) It is a very responsive cane, not requiring much cane off before the reed will function, and its slightly softer texture tends toward a rich, warm sound.  In addition to the tubes being consistently round and straight, they are also cut fairly short, resulting in almost zero waste cane!
